Providing full service solutions since 1980
Founded in 1980, Herguth Laboratories opened as a fluid analysis laboratory to fill the need for quality oil condition monitoring and lubrication analysis for numerous industries. Our research showed that most fluid analysis laboratories do not have the capability to deliver maintenance and lubrication analysis solutions. Responding to the market’s need, we designed our business to deliver lubrication analysis, equipment and oil condition monitoring, and rapid solutions to tribological (wear and tear) problems.

At Herguth, we assimilate collective knowledge and research from around the world. In addition, to resolve client problems rapidly, we created a research associate program to draw on expertise from around the nation. As a result, Herguth uses the most advanced testing capabilities of any independent fluid analysis laboratory in the world.
We test to ASTM and industry accepted standards and all tests are ISO 9001:2000 certified. Our ISO-9002 Quality Assurance Program demonstrates our uncompromising commitment to quality. We deliver quality analysis, consulting, and technology that positively impact our customers’ businesses.
Preventative and interventional evaluation with thorough reports and fast turnaround At Herguth, we understand that early detection of potential problems through effective analysis helps our customers reduce repairs, improve performance, and extend the life of their equipment. This feedback is timely and critical, so lubrication analysis is performed within 48 hours. When requested, we expedite the sample test and call with the results.
